What is the Prisoner Express Community?
This ambitious project has created an online space for Prisoner Express organization to continue facilitating connections between hundreds of volunteers and the thousands of prisoners seeking connection through our programs.
This community space is hosted by the Durland Alternatives Library.
Backstory – Dozens of events were happening at the Alternatives Library before the Covid-19 pandemic required the library to close to the public. We created this platform primarily to support the Prisoner Express program which hosts regular correspondence events.
